How I disagreed Oshiomhole just to keep my relations with Godwin Obaseki - Philip Shaibu says

Deputy governor of Edo State, Phillip Shaibu has decided to speak about the ongoing political drama between him and Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki. He stated that he had to disagree with former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole on some issues just to make sure that the relationship between him and Godwin Obaseki is maintained. Philip Shaibu who made such statement during an interview with TVC News few hours ago, was asked why people are saying that he is not loyal to governor Godwin Obaseki. And so Philip Shaibu in response to such question, revealed that he has given his loyalty to Godwin Obaseki and he sacrificed a lot just to keep the relationship between both of them, adding that he even had to disagree with Senator Adams Oshiomhole even though he was being deprived of many things. Philip Shaibu said; "In terms of loyalty, I think the people are getting it all wrong. Loyalty to the state and the governor, you cannot fault me on that, even the governor cannot fault me in terms of loyalty, ambition and loyalty there are two separate things. Ambition is guaranteed by the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Loyalty is giving and I have given that loyalty. I told you I sacrificed a lot to keep the relationship, my own political father, comrade Adams Oshiomhole, I disagreed with him in favour of Obaseki even when as at the time I was doing that, I know what I was deprived of, personally and officially. But I didn't mind, it's not about me, it's about what we've started, I saw it work under Oshiomhole. So for me that trajectory must not be cut off, and I had to put everything in it, Loyalty 100%"
