 Despite going back to Lagos to spend his Christmas and the New Year holiday season, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been busy all through as yesterday, he was at the Lagos House, Marina for a stakeholders meeting. During the meeting, a one-minute silence was held in honor of late governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who passed on yesterday following months of battle with sickness. 

Speaking on the death of the governor in a video shared by an aide to Sanwo-Olu, Jubril A Gawat, President Bola Ahmed, can be heard saying

“You are having problems seeing me, the job is monumental, it’s not a one-man job, it’s a collective team, and you have to be able to listen, decipher, tolerate. Sometimes what you don’t expect will happen. As I was getting ready this morning, Akeredolu’s matter came in, Ghali Na’abba’s matter too. Power is transient, only Almighty Allah gives power, and he’s the only one who would take it. We set the value of life, we see goodness in what we do and the result of goodness is a multiplier of other good things we must cherish”
