TAP 2.0 Stakeholders Mobilize Lagos for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope and Ambode’s 2027 Return

Lagos, April 2026 — The TAP 2.0 movement held its monthly Stakeholders meeting this week, bringing together coordinators from all 57 LG/LCDA across Lagos State in a unified push for grassroots mobilization and political alignment ahead of 2027.

Grassroots First, Renewed Hope Always

The core focus of the gathering was clear: galvanize grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda. Stakeholders agreed that every ward-level engagement must translate the President’s economic and security reforms into tangible conversations at the community level, while laying the foundation for Akinwunmi Ambode’s gubernatorial comeback in 2027.

Leadership with Purpose

Opening the session, TAP 2.0 team lead Hon. Modupe Jessica Bewaji set the tone with a call to responsibility.

“You are not just representatives, you are the face of TAP 2.0 in your communities,” she told attendees. “We stand on two pillars: loyalty to President Tinubu’s leadership at the center, and commitment to the Lagos vision that Ambode started. This is how we deliver continuity with credibility.”

Ethics Over Politics

Ethics emerged as the defining theme of the meeting. In a climate where political shortcuts often undermine public trust, TAP 2.0 reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and respect for party structures.

“If we compromise our ethics today, we betray the Lagos we want to restore and we weaken the trust Lagosians have placed in President Tinubu,” Hon. Bewaji stressed.

Voices from the Ground

The meeting also served as an open forum where Stakeholders shared real-time feedback from their LG/LCDA. From market leaders to youth groups, the message was consistent: Lagosians want credible leadership that listens and delivers. The dialogue was practical, solution-driven, and aligned with the broader goal of bridging federal and state development.

Aligned for 2027

Each coordinator presented progress reports from their local areas, ensuring activities remain coordinated and results-oriented. The mandate is simple: be the bridge between TAP 2.0 and the people, and ensure the message of continuity, development, and excellence reaches every household.

An Emotional Charge to Finish

As the meeting drew to a close, the atmosphere shifted from strategy to conviction.

“Eko fokanbale as our President says, and keep calm like Akinwunmi Ambode says.”

The line drew nods and applause — a reminder that strength lies not only in action but in composure, wisdom, and unity. Stakeholders left with a charge to return to their communities not with anxiety, but with assurance. Not with division, but with determination.

Lagos is watching. TAP 2.0 is building. And 2027 is within reach.

TAP 2.0 — Together, we build the Lagos of tomorrow, today.
